At 7 o’clock this morning the old crescent moon was making a lovely sight in the dawn sky. Mars was setting in the west, a beautiful red colour, and the blackbirds and robins were all singing their morning songs. The ground is still white with frost, on top of a light scattering of snow from last night.

Beautiful.
Thank you!
I saw that sliver of a moon but didn’t get a shot of it! You captured it so beautifully!
Thank you! We were just there at the right time – I watched it slowly fade into the sky as it got lighter.
This is gorgeous Jo…very peaceful.
Thank you – it was a lovely sight as it slowly faded into the sky. The new moon seems to be bringing us more rain and wind, however.
