My name is Jo Woolf, and I work in partnership with my husband, Colin, who is a wildlife artist. I’m an author, editor and copywriter, and I help to promote Colin’s work through publicity and exhibitions.
In 2008 I wrote and edited a book about Colin’s career as an artist, entitled ‘Daring to Fly‘.
I love the natural world, the night sky and pebbly beaches, and I’m the first to admit that I collect far too many rocks!

Hi Jo
It was lovely to meet you both at the weekend all be it rather short!
I hope you arrived home safe and sound.
I am just writing to say we have added your website to our links page, I hope this is ok with you. Your links page is very good, we will have to work on ours but we have only just opened ours up!
I love your website and will ask my younger son Gary to look at it and maybe steal some ideas!
Is the web site your work, its very good.
Gary has a first honours degree in computing and I know he will be well impressed with your site. He works for our local hospices doing data admin
for events fund raising etc so he is kept very busy.
Colins work is very imspiring and I look forward to following your work. Its great also to see an insight into your family life and I am sure your daughters will soon be as famous as their parents!
i have penciled you and Jules in for the next Game Fair Ragley. The event is being hailed as a great success and everyone is delighted.

Thanks for stopping by the blog. I enjoyed you sunset pictures on the Islay page
Thanks! Islay is an amazing place. We had a week there in December 09, with spectacular sunrises and sunsets.
Oh! I collect rocks too! Just ask my Mom… I started when very young! I recently have been collecting sand in glass jars. It looks so pretty on a shelf… Great photos.
Yes, and there are so many different kinds of sand! It’s an absorbing hobby – keep up the good work!
Thank you for visiting my blog. You are so nice. I am so glad to meet with you/with your blog. I love photography and your blog is great. Thank you, with my love, nia
Thank you very much for kind your kind comments, Nia. Welcome to my Journal and to The Hazel Tree!
What stunning photographs, you make me want to revisit Lewis. The beaches on the western isles are quite extraordinarily beautiful. I’m interested to read that you’ve written a book and I’m going to have a mooch round your blog now…
Jo my blog land-sea-sky iMAGEbANK is also a WordPress blog interested in the scrolling image view on your theme is something you have customized or is part of the theme Twenty Ten?
No, I haven’t customised anything in the Twenty Ten theme – the scrolling feature just happens when you insert a gallery of images! So I guess it comes as standard with the theme. The downside is that you can only view the images at that size – they don’t enlarge any more if you click on them.
Nice Blog Jo. Some really good images
Thank you very much, Jim! Glad you enjoyed them.
Hi Jo, I would like to give you the Versatile Blogger Award because, well, it speaks for itself. If ever there was a versatile blog surely it must be yours! http://lornastearoomdelights.wordpress.com/2012/04/27/more-gongs/ I haven’t followed the rules but you can find them here: http://bringingeuropehome.com/2012/04/09/playing-favoritesbeing-versatile/
Oh goodness Lorna, thank you! I am very honoured. Guess this means I shall have to think of some irrelevant facts?! It won’t be hard to find other blogs to nominate. Thank you again!
You’re most welcome Jo, I’m so pleased I got it to pass on because it’s made for you!
